Information Operations

Information Operations (IO) support the programs and activities necessary to use information resources (e.g., computers, networks, data sources, command and control systems, etc.) effectively in defense of the country. IO includes three broad categories of activities: 1) Offensive, 2) Defensive, and 3) Exploitation.

Synteras Information Operations activities include:

• Critical Infrastructure Analysis (e.g., infrastructure operations analysis and vulnerability assessment)
• Targeting (e.g., critical node identification, target/techniques matching)
• Battle Damage Assessments (e.g., operational impact assessments, lessons learned analysis, and technique refinement)
